Missions
At the Summit Church we have opportunities for you to get involved in missions both here and to the ends of the earth. We want you to experience the thrill of personal involvement in missions because it is a matter of obedience to the Lord and also because of the rich blessing it brings back to your life when you give of yourself to others.
The Giving Goal
As a starting place, we’re shooting for each of us to stretch our faith by giving one percent above our tithe and current offerings to missions. This enables us to extend our reach in Corpus Christi and support missionaries who represent us in other countries. By giving beyond our current level we enable greater outreach without hindering other necessary ministries of The Summit Church.
This is done by completing a Faith Promise Card available at our missions display. Keep the small part as a reminder of your gift and turn in the large section so our missions team can budget and notify our missionaries of the levels of support we will be providing for them.
The Going Goal
We also want 100% of the Summit Church family to “do” missions. That is why we plan everything from 1 day ministry trips to Mexico to outreaches around the globe. A picture is worth a thousand words but an experience is worth a thousand pictures. We want you to personally experience the joy of both giving and going in missions.
